Longtime NBA vet, Seattle basketball legend Doug Christie, a Rainier Beach alum, joins Dan Dickau’s ‘Quarantine Series’ podcast

High schools and high school sports across Washington are closed for the school year, but the Scorebook Live Today podcast has ramped things up.

Each weekday, analyst Dan Dickau is interviewing a special guest from across the sports and entertainment spectrum. Dickau hopes to both entertain and provide perspective to understand how uniquely sports can prepare one for a wide array of things.

On Friday, Seattle basketball legend Doug Christie joins. Christie had a 15-year NBA career after coming up playing high school ball at Mark Morris and Rainier Beach. He starred at Pepperdine in the early 1990s. Christie was the longtime godfather of the Seattle Pro-Am, and traded stories with Dickau about proving himself in Seattle among some of the greats.
