BYU head coach, Newport High grad Mark Pope joins Dickau’s ‘Quarantine Series’ podcast

High schools and high school sports across Washington are closed for the school year, but the Scorebook Live Today podcast has ramped things up.

Each weekday, analyst Dan Dickau is interviewing a special guest from across the sports and entertainment spectrum. Dickau hopes to both entertain and provide perspective to understand how uniquely sports can prepare one for a wide array of things.

On Thursday, BYU head men’s basketball coach Mark Pope joins to discuss the lost college basketball postseason, why he dropped out of medical school and the two regale old NBA journeyman stories. Pope attended Newport High School in Bellevue.
