High schools and high school sports across Washington are closed for the school year, but the Scorebook Live Today podcast has ramped things up.
Each weekday, analyst Dan Dickau is interviewing a new expert in their respective field. Dickau hopes to both entertain and provide students, coaches, parents perspective to understand how uniquely sports can prepare one for a wide array of things.
On Friday, Washington high school sports legend Marques Tuiasosopo joins. Tuiasosopo Tuiasosopo was a highly-touted quarterback and MLB draft selection out of Woodinville High School in the mid-90s but opted to play quarterback at University of Washington, where he went on to win Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2000. He played eight seasons in the NFL and is now the tight ends coach at Cal.
