Graham-Kapowsin WR Malaki Roberson and Hoquiam RB Malaki Eaton voted Scorebook Live’s athletes of the week

Congratulations to Graham-Kapowsin High School wide receiver Malaki Roberson and Hoquiam High School running back Malaki Eaton for being voted Scorebook Live’s WAFD Bank Athletes of the Week!

Roberson caught eight passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns and threw a 34-yard TD pass in Graham-Kapowsin’s 49-6 win over Mount Vernon on Nov. 8.

Eaton rushed 40 times for 254 yards and four touchdowns and hauled in a 63-yard TD reception in Hoquiam’s 50-22 win over Castle Rock on Nov. 8.

Roberson and Eaton each received 23.5% of the vote and were within one vote of each other. It was an impressive voting effort by both fan bases. If this were an election, we would have a run-off. Because it’s high school sports we get to give out swag and awards to two great athletes!

We are currently accepting athlete of the week nominations for the week of Nov. 11-17. If you would like to nominate an athlete, please email regan@scorebooklive.com or tag us on Twitter or Instagram at @sblivewa.
